There is crossover between the fraternity and the team, but that is not how big/little decisions are made. It is more leadership decision and you are told.

how often do ball grabs happen? it looks like the get cupped and purposefully squsihed often but i know the singlet does a good job of keping them in place. but it looks easy to grab, so curious. as a bjj pratitioner i find wrestlers i roll with will often do something to my nuts to get them to ache so i wanna hear your thoughts!
Please tell me that a "bjj practitioner" stands for "Blow Job Junkie"!

You've mentioned how wrestling is such a conservative sport. Why do you think? I've noticed how many religious tattoos the guys have, and how many mention scripture on their socials etc. I've even seen some schools tweet out bible passages on the official twitter account which seems so odd. What does God have to do with wrestling, any more than soccer or lacrosse lol? Just curious as it's often struck me as an odd cultural phenomenon.
That's really whacko. Of course,I think religion in sports is ridiculous, like those hs football coaches who pray before a game. Does anyone really think God reaches down and nudges that ball out of bounds or whatever?
If it really is politically/socially conservative, how to they reconcile the blatantly homosexual nature of the sport?

Do wrestlers REALLY get hard ons when they're engaged in wrestling? Seems like you'd be concentrating on survival. I suppose it's possible to get it when not on the mat, but maybe I'm not crediting guys enough. As one writer put it, if the breeze blew I got an erection, so perhaps I just don't know. who can conFIRM it?

Thanks for sharing! I’m curious about the HS lockerroom. There must have been other, non-wrestler students in the lockerroom at least occasionally. Did any ever shower woth the wrestlers? Did any participate in the jo sessions? Was it known amongst the other teams/students that wrestlers jo’d in the HS shower?

I hope people realize that most of what he's saying is fantasy, and didn't actually happen.
An entire wrestling team of 90%+ straight guys all jerking off together in the locker room showers together? Give me a break. That's straight out of a gay porn fantasy. You're all way too gullible if you think that actually happened lmao
You'd get called gay (or worse) for getting hard in the locker room like that. As he mentioned, wrestlers can be pretty conservative and homophobic, so the idea that they're all jerking off together is laughable.
To answer the most common things I've seen here:
1. Showering and changing together in the locker room is normal, but nothing sexual happens. We just showered like normal, chatted about random stuff, how practice went, where we were going to eat after, etc. No one got hard in the showers.
2. It is common for bulge grabs to happen, but it's usually not intentional unless the guy is trying to distract you/break your concentration. I did that a few times.
3. Yeah most guys will get a semi if you grab or rub up against their bulge, but it's not really sexual. Just a response to the stimulation. I never got rock hard, or wrestled any other guys who felt like they were fully hard.
Any other questions I'd be happy to answer without the obvious fantasy lol

it happens. guys can wrestle dirty, but sometimes it can happen unintentionally. sometimes you go for a hold and they are in the way. I would say I've done it but never intentionally.
Good question. I think it has to do with access. The sport can be in the smallest of high schools in rural areas rather than an entire football team. I also think regional popularity in more rural red states. I also think there is an aspect of masculinity to it that is rooted in a religious-conservative background.
I don't think it is seen that way and it is a form of masculinity that shields itself from thinking of the sport in that way.
I'm swinging, proud of it. I have received positive attention or been noticed. Rarely in the moment, it happens in follow up or that is the first thing that was noticed. NRBs happen, MS and HS were challenging at times. I think now it when it happens with quick hook up or something at a party and she gets handsy and I react there isnt much hiding it. I have been called out a few times.
it does happen. some more than others. I think most of what you are seeing is guys dicks getting out of place and it can look awkward maybe a slight chub. I think what my personal experience has been aging out of that and being used to the environment and spending so much time in a singlet. I will admit I can chub up every now and then but it has been years sense ive had a full rager.
football, soccer, track came through. That is how I got to know C. Wrestling team was in the showers more and more consistent. I think what slowed it down was less team comradery when it was busy with other teams. The practice schedule for wrestling was later than the other teams so we were done by the time we got in there. It was known but not widely discussed. For the team it was more about getting it out rather than some type showing off or porn situation. more function.

Most of the point of it was to protect the other person. The big thing is if you come out and spike the ball, or whatever, the other person gets to leave. I spiked the ball with a guy in my bed, had a good hook up, one time thing with a new guy, spiked the ball, and he left later that night. Thing that can be really embarrassing is when the group comes together for a spike the ball and the guy is just jerking off a little too loud. It has happened a few times, once was me.
